Michal Greguš

Michal Gregus is currently the vice-rector for ICT at the Comenius University Bratislava in the second academic year. He set himself the main goal to modernizing the ICT department and ICT systems at the university.

He graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics in field of Mathematical Analysis. After graduation, however, he entered the private sector in the IT business and worked in positions ranging from developer to project manager. This eventually brought him back to university to doctoral studies in business management. In addition to his practice, he devoted his time to teaching at the Faculty of Management with a focus on IT systems, and he is working as a university professor at the Department of Information Systems. His research and teaching is devoted mainly to databases and agile management already for almost two decades.

Michal believes that successful stories in IT are always a product of good and effective communication and empathy between IT and non-IT world.
