Dragana Smolović

Dragana has been working in human resources for the past 19 years with a background in retail banking. Working for an international banking group led her to seize an opportunity in Slovakia, where she moved with her family four years ago. Dragana comes to VÚB Bank from Banca Intesa Belgrade, both belonging to the Intesa Sanpaolo Group.
She has worked for the group since 2012, the last 7 years of which as HR Director both in Serbia and Slovakia. She was responsible for all areas of human resources, but also for internal communication, CSR and project management, lately focusing more on the future of work and strategic HR.
She studied at the University of Sheffield and also at the Anglo-American College in Prague, and speaks fluent Czech. She is married and has two children, enjoys cycling and spending time in nature with her dog, meeting friends with a glass of good wine and great music.
