With extensive background in informatics as well as 18 years of experience in banking, reaching from IT development to building up of digital solutions and scaling up of digital business, Branislav is currently leveraging his knowledge from both worlds as a leader of organization change in Slovenská sporiteľňa by digitally transforming Slovakia’s leading bank into a modern client-oriented organization.

As a software engineering graduate, he rose in Tatra banka from IT developer into manager enabling his teams to successfully complete extensive challenges such as development, rollout and client adoption of the first mobile banking application in Slovakia.

Within Slovenská sporiteľňa, he was not only taking front-role in shaping and delivering of George digital banking platform towards its clients in CEE but together with other leaders took the opportunity to use it as transformation tool. He became a leader guiding teams through high stress, constantly changing environment while embracing values such as empowerment and ownership to ensure success of George among the bank’s clients. The high-performing and cross-functional teams became a crucial part of the bank’s transformation by fearlessly utilizing the variety of their skillsets, client-centric approach and the common sense.

Today, Branislav works as a digital transformation leader implementing new tools and approaches in the organization to accelerate the change into a customer-centric bank through its employees and technology.
