Uroš is a partner in the IT assurance and Advisory department at Forvis Mazars. He has more than 21 years of experience in the fields of information systems auditing, cyber security, security reviews, risk management, corporate governance, and compliance in a wide range of industries, both in Europe and the US, where he lived and worked for five years.

Uroš holds a degree in Economics majoring in Business Informatics from the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, and has also obtained CISA and CISM certifications from ISACA, as well as CISSP from ISC2 and PMP from PMI. He is an accredited trainer for CISA and CISM certifications and the Cybersecurity Fundamentals certificate at ISACA and the current vice president of ISACA Slovenia. Uroš is a regular lecturer, presenter, roundtable leader, and a moderator at professional conferences on information and cyber security, both in Slovenia and abroad.

Uroš participated in the revision and update of the European Handbook for Cyber Security Risk for Corporate boards, assisting Internet Security Alliance, that publishes Handbooks on Cyber Security for multiple markets, including US.

As a keynote speaker at Inspire Together 2026, Uroš also represents the newly established itSMF Slovakia Cybersecurity Working Group.
