Michal has spent his whole career in delivery and project management, as a project manager, a mentor and an accredited PRINCE2 trainer. Since 2022 he has been the Chief Operating Officer of BIQ Group, a Czech and Slovak technology group, where he is accountable for operations and for client delivery across the group’s companies, and where the group project management office reports to him. He joined after years in consulting and in senior roles in international corporate environments, in banking, automotive finance, telecommunications, logistics and IT.
His goal is to grow what the group can deliver for its clients, both in complexity and in quality, by looking at projects across the whole group rather than one at a time. Much of his recent work has been in ERP and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, including the first public cloud implementation in Slovakia, delivered for DPD SK, which received the SAP Quality Award for the CEE region in 2024.
Michal is the president of the Chamber of Project Managers, a professional association in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In his free time he is devoted to his family, good food and sports.
